Join us for the first ever Spring Gear Swap at WSU. Similar to the Ski Swap, the Spring Gear Swap is a great opportunity on the Palouse to buy or sell new or used outdoor equipment.
DESCRIPTION
The WSU Spring Gear brings vendors and outdoor organizations in from all over the Northwest to sell items at a discounted price and provide educational workshops free of charge. In addition to a great selection of gear there will be opportunities for the public to sell a variety of outdoor equipment. Finally, there will also be an opportunities to participate on UREC's Challenge course, Gravity workout, and a massage. Please look at schedule for confirmed vendors, workshops, and other UREC opportunities.
LOCATION AND PARKING
The Spring Gear Swap is located in the Student Recreation Center on Court Seven. Once inside Student Recreation Center, please follow signs for exact location of Swap. Free event parking is accessible via Stadium Way and Orchad Street in the blue parking lot between Beasley Coliseum and back of the Student Recreation Center.

SELLING PUBLIC EQUIPMENT
Individuals wishing to sell equipment must bring items to the back of the Student Recreation Center located near the outside volleyball and basketball court between 10:00AM - 11:30AM. A charge $0.75 per item for sale is required to enter merchandise into the Swap. If the merchandise sells, a fee of 16% will be assessed. Unsold equipment and checks may be picked up immediately following the event or at the Outdoor Recreation Center between 12:00 PM and 5:30 PM Monday-Friday. Items and checks not picked up by April 4, 2008 will be considered abandoned and donated to the Outdoor Recreation Center.
The Outdoor Recreation Center will be handling sales tax issues on all sales. Sales tax will be charged to the customer on top of the set sales price. The Outdoor Recreation Center will collect the tax and pay it to the state office.
All sales are final and no returns will be accepted.
